Review by hotel critic
Review of Palma HotelAs a food critic and former chef, my family's recent stay at Palma Hotel left us with mixed feelings. Set in a prime location next to the sea, the view from our window was undeniably pleasing. The proximity to the vibrant city center allowed us to explore, particularly enjoying an evening at the Odessa Theatre of Opera and Ballet, which was a good cultural outing for the family. Unfortunately, while the hotel had potential, service fell short of expectations. Upon arrival, we encountered delays, and the hosts appeared overwhelmed, which painted an unwelcoming atmosphere. Clean towels were a small comfort amidst the challenges we faced. Despite the setbacks, I appreciated the family-friendly amenities, particularly the children's play area, which kept my younger family members entertained. While Palma has a great setup for families, a more attentive staff could enhance the experience. In summary, although it boasts a fantastic location and family activities, improvements in service and hotel upkeep are necessary for Palma Hotel to shine. For families seeking a welcoming environment, a thorough research on accommodations may lead to a more satisfactory choice.
